Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Solution Architect to join our team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex software solutions that address our customers' business needs. Is also expected to have data modeling experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models for our organization's data infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background with expertise in software development, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture. Should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into effective data models.

Additionally, should possess strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with stakeholders and guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, data scientists, and developers, to understand data requirements and objectives.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs and align with architectural best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop solution architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation to communicate design decisions and implementation guidelines.
  • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business requirements and industry best practices
  • Evaluate existing data models and databases to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Define data standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and integrity across databases and applications.
  • Lead and mentor development teams during the implementation phase, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Evaluate third-party products and technologies to assess their suitability for integration into the solution architecture.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, development methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Implement data modeling best practices and methodologies to support data governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to drive successful solution delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project stakeholders, including executives, customers, and development teams.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect, with at least 5 years of experience in data modeling ,database design , software development and architecture design.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of dimensional modeling techniques for data warehousing (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, data management, and data integration technologies.
  • Familiarity with data modeling standards and methodologies (e.g., IDEF1X, UML, Kimball).
  • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Good to have experience with microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing
  • Relevant certifications (e.g.,  AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF,CDMP, DAMA) are desirable.
