QA Tester - Database Testing

The QA Tester is expected to have close & continuous involvement with the project activities and be engaged with the Business Analysts and Project Manager to ensure they are fully connected and involved in project activities, decisions, risks and issues.  This position operates as part of a global team in support of external and internal customers. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA Testers, and Product Owners to deliver on behalf of the customer with quality

·       Be involved in day-to-day data testing, analyzing, documentation, troubleshooting and reporting 

·       Perform usability, functional, and regression testing 

·       Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results  

·       Evaluate product functionality according to specifications  

·       Document defects and enhancements  

·       Report bugs and errors to development teams  

·       Communicate with the team on issues and risks, and help to troubleshoot  

·       Collaborate with onshore and offshore testing team  

·       Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing  

·       Assist with technical or training documentation   

·       Create test data for test execution  

·       May attend project meetings to review requirements, use cases and test planning activities along with the associated timeline.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

·       3 Years + Experience in Database Testing with High level of proficiency on SQL.

·       Previous experience with automated testing tools is highly desired.

·       Previous testing experience in diverse software testing environments.

·       Product Technology testing background is preferred

·       Excellent analytical and communication skills, problem solving capabilities and attention to details is required.

·       Curious and passionate about delivering products with the highest quality.
