Summary:

The Team Lead will be responsible for managing day-to-day Operations of a team of Shared Services employees while also performing those services to meet or exceed performance metrics and positive customer experiences. This role will partner closely with Local/Regional HR leaders to strategize, execute, and engage with Shared Services team while leading change and role modeling a variety of models, tools and resources to ensure steam goals are met and continuous improvement efforts are introduced.

Job responsibilities 

  • Responsible for coaching and developing team members in areas of shared services delivery, including but not limited to inquiry, data transacting and / or process management, metrics and behaviors related to the customer experience.
  • Facilitates routine meetings & discussions with team to ensure goal achievement and efficiencies, while escalating to management if known roadblocks or challenges exist. 
  • Sets performance goals and objectives and provides to appropriate leadership; conducts performance evaluations/reviews.
  • Manages employee performance, including issues management and delivery of appropriate corrective action as needed.
  • Manages schedules and ensures ample coverage during high volumes or absences to meet the business needs.
  • Communicates policy updates and company information through team meetings and one-on-one development sessions.
  • Manage complex HR Business processes including but not limited to onboarding, off boarding, unemployment, employee records, performance, talent, benefits and compensation.
  • Draws upon professional HR Services & Operations knowledge of the business environment, requirements, and strategies to design and/or update HR Services/Operations specific approaches, policies, programs, and processes for HR Centers of Excellence (COE) client groups.
  • Interacts with cross-functional support groups in order to manage day-to-day operations.
  • Problem solves backlog issues and resolutions to better serve the employees and business.
  • Handles elevated customer issues and works directly with customers to facilitate problem resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Builds relationship with local, regional and Global HR partners to drive consistency and adopt HR best practices within the team.
  • Other similar and/or related duties as may be assigned per business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in Business or HR preferred with HR inquiry and process management experience.
  • Demonstrated coaching and counseling skills used to influence and change individual employee behavior.
  • Effective problem solving/process improvement skills used to identify and resolve day-to-day operation and employee relation problems.
  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization and time management skills; experience building daily/weekly structure in schedule.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and motivate collaborative teams.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to listen, thoughtfully solve problems, and realize successful, collaborative results.
  • Acts in an Ethical and Compliant manner and requires other to do the same.
  • Minimal travel may be required (up to 10%).
