Job responsibilities 
•    Designs and documents the test strategy, scope, configurations and schedule on the test plan.
•    Designs, creates and executes manual test cases per technical specifications for testing integrated applications and software products.
•    Reports, monitors and takes appropriate action on assigned defects in a defect tracking system.
•    Communicates steps and outcomes of test case execution upon opening a defect in the tracking system.
•    Closes defects in the tracking system when the defect has been corrected and meets stated requirements.
•    Suggests testing processes and procedure improvements.
•    Completes all activities in the test planning phase of products and enhancements including the estimation of QA hours.
•    Attends and actively participates in project meetings to review project requirements, use cases and test planning activities.
•    Communicates with development teams on testing issues.
•    Troubleshoots issues and communicates correct system behavior where applicable.
•    Assists with escalated technical support issues, when needed.
•    Other duties as assigned.
•    Ensures user acceptance test is not a defect discovery exercise.
•    Ensures all test deliverables and artifacts adhere to QA SOP and WI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years of Testing experience
  • Must have Functional Testing & Database testing Experience
  • Must have experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience testing GxP applications in a highly regulated environment is preferred.
  • Experience in leading of small teams is an advantage. Coordinating with team in allocating Test cases. Working closely with Development Teams
  • Previous testing experience in diverse software testing environments.
  • Product Technology testing background is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, problem solving capabilities and attention to details is required.
  • Curious and passionate about delivering products with the highest quality
