Job Responsibilities

 

1.      Develops and supports internal and external scientific strategies that support the Company’s scientific reputation and brand equity, corporate growth strategy, and overall mission.

 

2.      Develops implementation plans for CSO-driven strategies and initiatives.

 

3.      Develops CSO-driven enterprise-wide and cross functional solutions that drive value for the Company and our customers.

 

4.      Drives scientific collaboration across internal business units.

 

5.      Provides scientific, medical, and drug development advice to internal and external stakeholders/customers.

 

6.      Demonstrates scientific leadership both internally and externally.

 

7.      Develops, authors, and presents scientific content on behalf of the Company.

 

8.      Demonstrates and models scientific and medical integrity and ethics.

 

9.      Provides support to new business opportunities and delivery as needed.

Qualifications

MD or PhD or equivalent and significant experience in drug development experience within the biopharma or CRO industry; or combination of equivalent education and experience.  Knowledge of FDA and worldwide drug development regulations and a strong understanding of reimbursement issues.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.  Effective customer engagement.  Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment while maintaining a focus on patients.  Strong business acumen.
