Clinical Research Associate

Clinical Research Associates (CRA) have a vital role in our clinical trials. You'll work with top 20 pharma, doing the research that matters, with endless opportunities to work with experts around the world and build the career you want.

We own site and patient results. We understand the site and patient ecosystem and our role as site manager. Our job is to assess the progress of clinical projects at assigned sites (either on site or remotely) and to ensure clinical projects are conducted, recorded, and reported in accordance with the protocol, Syneos Health and Sponsor standard operating procedures and all applicable local and federal regulatory requirements.

Clinical Trial Management

Our Clinical Trial Managers (CTM) serve as the clinical functional lead, accountable for the clinical monitoring/site management delivery of assigned studies.

We provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to the Clinical Operations team to ensure quality of deliverables and achievement of financial goals. We are supported with strong, clinically focused leaders who work side-by-side with us on purposeful team building and proactive problem solving. We drive and manage the clinical and site management aspects of an assigned project. We are strategic leaders driving monitoring delivery.

Our Clinical Trial Manager community is expected to challenge the status quo in a highly competitive and ever-changing environment. We are agile and take initiative to set and exceed targets for success.

Site Start-Up

In Site Start-Up (SSU) our team owns a large part of the critical pathway to and the coordination of all aspects of site activation before handing off to clinical operations.

SSU is one of the most complex and heavily regulated parts of any clinical trial or program launch. This includes trial & site feasibility, regulatory document collection & review, local regulatory & ethics intelligence & submissions, and site contract and budget negotiations.

Working efficiently in SSU, we help reduce the time it takes for patients to start their clinical trial journeys and help bring lifesaving treatments to those that need them.

Decentralized Solutions

We know there’s no “one size–fits all” solution to decentralizing a clinical trial. Decentralized Solutions leverages our fit-for-purpose technology to minimize patient and site burden while increasing accessibility and participation for patients and sites in clinical research studies. Our Decentralized Solutions team enables technology through partnerships, both internal and external, to allow the execution of clinical trials fully outside the traditional brick and mortar clinical research location, either partially or fully.

Our strategy brings flexibility to each customers' study, fueled by data, people, process and technology. By bringing together the right elements for each study, Syneos Health is able to provide a site and patient focused approach, allowing Sponsors to realize efficiencies in patient recruitment, engagement, and improved access.

Functional Service Provider (FSP)

An FSP relationship is a partnership between Syneos Health and a Sponsor. Every partnership is unique with each one tailored to achieve our customer’s visions and goals. This allows us to grow and evolve with our customers as their portfolio needs evolve.

Full Service

Full Service is a prominent service model among CROs and critical to Syneos Health.

The Full Service environment is dynamic with multiple Sponsors and project assignments. Our Syneos Health colleagues gain broad exposure to therapeutic areas and multiple Sponsors’ processes, roles, technology, financial experience, end-to-end project work and business development opportunities.

Timelines can be fast paced and colleagues in a Full-Service model tend to thrive on variety and are not averse to change, truncated timelines and a degree of unpredictability.
