Fostering Resiliency at the Crossroads of Trying Times
Compounding these emotional stressors is the current and sustained movement toward racial justice within the U.S. and around the world. This long-due self-reflection on social disparities has led us to address systemic inequities in our workplaces, communities, and healthcare systems as we come face-to-face with the perils of being Black and Brown in America. A newfound focus not only on equality but the concept of anti-racism, has played out against the most unusual and polarizing U.S. election cycles in recent memory.
We are not only “sheltering in place” but consuming a daily diet of stressful news and uncertainty. And, finally, a focus on personal economics and the broader health of the global economy is a looming presence in many minds.
