Colin Shannon

Colin Shannon is Chief Executive Officer of Syneos Health and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. A talented leader and executive, Colin has a proven track record as an operator, talent developer and strategic thinker. He brings decades of leadership experience driving growth at global biopharmaceutical solutions organizations.
Prior to joining Syneos Health, Colin served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at PRA Health Sciences. He also held various executive roles at Pharmaceutical Product Development Inc. (PPD), including Executive Vice President of Global Clinical Operations, Chief Operating Officer for European operations, Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for International Operations, and Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for Europe.
Additionally, Colin spent more than 15 years in the utility and multimedia industries, focusing on financial and accounting functions. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Clinigen Group and as a Senior Advisor to Patient Square Capital.
Colin holds a M.B.A. from City University in London and is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Association of Accountants.
