Josh Rose is Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer at Syneos Health, bringing more than two decades of executive experience spanning strategy, business development, M&A, operations and clinical trial innovation. In his role, he leads enterprise strategy and Corporate Development, helping shape strategic priorities, partnerships and opportunities to drive long-term growth and value creation.
Josh brings deep experience at the intersection of corporate strategy, growth and clinical development, with a track record of building new businesses, evaluating strategic opportunities and advancing new approaches to clinical trial delivery. Prior to joining Syneos Health, Josh served as CEO of Hawthorne Health, a technology-enabled clinical research company focused on expanding participation in clinical trials through community and mobile research capabilities. Previously, he launched and led CVS Health’s clinical trial services business, establishing partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and CROs and building a differentiated clinical trial delivery model. Earlier in his career, he held roles across strategy, innovation and business development at IQVIA.
Josh holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
